- 20th february 2025
At TREVISAN ART GALLERY of the international artist Carlo Trevisan,
the second exhibition of a series of themed exhibitions that will
develop in a calendar planned for the whole year 2025 will open on
Sunday 9 February.
On the occasion of Valentine's Day, the KISS & LOVE exhibition will
have as its theme love captured in its many facets. Trevisan has been
collaborating for over ten years with an art gallery in Paris, in
Montmartre, a romantic city par excellence and in recent years he has
had the opportunity to paint numerous artistic works on the theme of
love.
Verona is certainly no less than Paris on the theme of love.
The famous tragedy of "Romeo and Juliet" is set here, the love story
between two young lovers that has made the city of Verona famous
throughout the world as a symbol of love.
In Verona, every day of the year it is easy to see lovers embracing
along the streets of the historic center or spouses from all over the
world who eternalize their "I do" at Juliet's tomb.
On the occasion of the anniversary of Valentine's Day, the artist
Trevisan collects about fifty oil paintings dedicated to this world,
to that platonic, romantic, sentimental love, using icons, stereotypes
and often resorting to the world of animals as a metaphor for man.
The theme of love has always been present in Trevisan's long artistic
production, a subject without borders that he has managed to transmit
with his surreal style in countries all over the world, using
universal images and symbols to arrive at a representation of this
eternal feeling.
In art, numerous paintings on love have become part of the emotional
imagination and it is precisely thanks to this universality without
time and borders that a work of art on love acquires a value that goes
beyond its tangible value.
A special exhibition therefore dedicated to lovers that is one of the
numerous events that the city of Verona organizes every year on
February 14 to celebrate love and romance. The aim of this exhibition
is to reach the hearts of lovers, especially young people, through
art, to go beyond abandoning padlocks as signs of their love, but to
make them reflect on the greatness and true eternal value of this
feeling that, thanks to art, manages to transport the hearts of lovers
to something more infinite, true and permanent.
Presso TREVISAN ART GALLERY dell'artista internazionale
simbolo dell'amore. A
Verona
ogni giorno dell'anno è facile vedere innamorati
quell'amore platonico, romantico, sentimentale, impiegando icone,
